At The Green we take pride in a high-level dining experience and are passionate about the produce that we serve. As a small restaurant our kitchen and front-of-house teams work very closely which enables us to share an intricate knowledge of our dishes. Our kitchen team thrives on executing creativity and refinement to a high standard. We are looking for a team player/leader who has experience in all aspects of the kitchen and has a well-rounded understanding of food production.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experienced in high-level European kitchens

  • Skilled in all sections in particular hot section

  • Has a creative mindset towards food

  • An understanding of balance and modern gastronomic trends

  • The ability to work unsupervised

  • An environmental awareness and consideration of food production

The Role:

  • A team player with effective communication skills

  • Day to day running of the kitchen when Head Chef is absent, including adapting menu daily and ordering fresh produce

  • Running a small and organised kitchen team

  • Operating a high standard of hygiene (Level 3) and Health & Safety

  • Creating new dishes
